Webee wanted to launch an awareness campaign to acquire international customers and distributers. The Webee management team needed to differentiate themselves from the world of tablet computing and highlight the unique features of their educational gaming ecosystem verses other solutions on the market.
Project Stages
- Research the market and determine the factors that parents and children liked best about the prototype Webee product.
- Develop a corporate video outlining Webee’s unique selling points.
- Develop a viral video to increase awareness about Webee’s USP’s.
- Manage the media and create opportunities for PR coverage that would give each a ‘little something unique’; keeping journalists happy and supportive of the project.
- Combat and manage any negative press or feedback from competitors to the project.
- Convince people to support a ‘Kickstarter’ campaign launch about the product — while encouraging investors and distributors to contribute to make the project a reality.

RESULTS
In addition to the standard PR, Nomadigo produced and managed a viral video campaign for Webee. Over 600,000 people watched the viral video that was seeded on various websites and promoted through social media about Webee. The branding and exposure given to the product reached millions of parents in the UK, USA, Europe, Russia, Israel, Latin America & Australia. Webee’s twitter profile went from zero to 1900 followers over the course of 60 days.
After getting initial PR exposure about the product, over 2,300 people clicked through the various articles published to watch the product video and learn more about Webee.
Achievements: The positive coverage generated interest in investment opportunities with angel investors and closed a round in record time for the company. At the same time the campaign drew in many excited potential distributers interested in bringing Webee to the market. The company is currently in Negotiations with them to launch Webee in Dec 2012 around the world.
